Mike Shearer

Mike trained at The Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts graduating in 2007 with a degree in Musical Theatre.

Most recently Mike played the title role of Zanna in the musical 'Zanna Don't' (Gatehouse Theatre, Islington) where he recieved rave reviews. Other professional credits include: Vocalist in 'The 12 Days of Christmas' (Cruise Terminal, Tilbury) he also created the role of JB Watson in new musical 'Departure Lounge' (George Square, Edinburgh Festival) where this musical won the award for 'Best music' at the Edinburgh Musical Theatre awards 2008. Vocalist 'Perfect Pitch In Concert' (Radlett theatre & George one) Jamie in new musical 'The Diary Of Me' (Harlow Playhouse, Harlow) Vocalist 'West End Rocks' (Hexagon theatre, Reading) Freckles 'Peter Pan' (Weymouth Pavillion)

Whilst training Mike played Sam in 'Personals' (Jermyn Street theatre, London) Ernst Ludwig 'Cabaret', Benedict 'Much Ado About Nothing' and Sonny in 'Serving it up'
